Jesus Be Near

“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart. And He saves those who are broken in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 (NLV)
How many times throughout our life? Have we prayed these three simple words ‘Jesus, Be near!’? I believe that His heart is moved with compassion in that very moment. Our loving Savior runs to us! He already has the solution for whatever season we’re walking through. Christ is our comforter! He gives us the exact Word from His Word when we need it.
How many times have you needed a Word from God and poof it suddenly appears? It isn’t magic! What’s also known as the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus knows the end from the beginning! He’s with us during the chapters where we find ourselves in-between!
Isn’t it wonderful that we can always count on the Lord 24/7, 365 days of the year? I don’t know what you are facing at the start of 2025! Here’s what I can remind you of this afternoon! Jesus loves you and He will always be near. You are never alone!
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, You are near the broken hearted! Lord, You are near those walking through challenging times! We can rest assured that You will always be near and we are never alone! In Jesus Name, Amen
