Life Isn’t A Bed of Roses

"“O Sovereign LORD! You made the heavens and earth by your strong hand and powerful arm. Nothing is too hard for you!"" Jeremiah 32:17 (NLT)

Is your life a bed of roses? No! Everyone goes through seasons of suffering at one point or another in their lifetime. Why? Satan does his best to destroy Christians. He gets angry when we are serving the Lord. Lucifer wants believers to be miserable! Our joy comes from Christ!

Remember, the story of Job? He lost everything (His cattle, servants, and finally His ten children.) Then Job gets really sick and can't even get out of bed. Who recalls what His wife told him to do? "His wife said to him, “Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.” "But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong." Job 2:9-10 (NLT). God restored to him everything he had lost and he lived 140 years after that. He will do the same for you today!

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, You have given us a new life! Lord, we are cleansed by Your forgiveness. Christians must continue to fight the good fight of faith! In Jesus Name, Amen.
