Refuse to Hold Grudges (Remember How Much Jesus Has Forgiven You)

“34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.” Luke 23:34 (NIV)

When you get saved? You learn how to forgive! Jesus teaches us the importance of forgiveness and repentance when we surrender our lives to Him.

If you are not a believer? You keep replaying the reel of the wrongness that was done to you. You are unable to remove your finger away from the rewind button.

Jesus says, “Let’s move past this! I give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).”

Forgiveness is greater than holding grudges! The next time you consider holding a grudge remember how much Jesus has forgiven you even when you didn’t deserve it. None of us are worthy of forgiveness, but Jesus paid the debt we could not pay.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, You sent Your One and only Son, Jesus to pay the debt we could not pay. Lord, the next time we consider holding a grudge may we remember how much Jesus has forgiven us even when we didn’t deserve it. Thank You for teaching us the importance of forgiveness and repentance! In Jesus Name, Amen
